Cancellation & Rescheduling

Clear, fair guidelines for cancellations, reschedules, packages, and weather interruptions — so every session runs smoothly.

At Kevin Cotter Golf, every coaching session is scheduled to ensure a personalized learning experience. To respect the time of all students and maintain smooth scheduling, please review the policy below regarding cancellations, reschedules, packages, and weather interruptions.

Section 01

Booking & Payment

  • Payment is due at booking to reserve your time.
  • You'll receive a confirmation email or text after booking.
  • All bookings are considered acceptance of this policy.
Section 02

Rescheduling or Cancellation

  • 24 hours or more before your lesson: No fee. You may reschedule or request a full refund or credit on file — your choice.
  • Less than 24 hours before start time: The full session fee is charged and the lesson is forfeited.
One grace cancellation per year: One late cancellation per calendar year may be refunded or credited at my discretion if the time slot can be filled.
Section 03

No-Show & Late Arrival

  • Not arriving for a scheduled lesson, or arriving 15 minutes or more late, is considered a no-show. The session is forfeited with no refund or credit.
  • If you arrive late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time to avoid overlapping the next appointment.
Section 04

Weather or Facility Closures

  • If the facility closes or weather prevents safe play, you'll receive a no-fee reschedule.
  • If conditions are playable and the facility remains open, the standard 24-hour policy applies.
  • Whenever possible, I'll adapt the session indoors or under cover to continue instruction.
Section 05

Illness or Emergencies

  • True emergencies or sudden illness are handled case-by-case. Please contact me as soon as possible prior to lesson start time.
  • Documentation may be requested for a waived fee.
Section 06

Packages & Series Lessons

  • Non-refundable: Once initiated, packages are non-refundable.
  • Transferable: Packages may be transferred to an immediate family member at no charge (one transfer per package).
  • Carry-rorward: Unused sessions automatically carry forward to the next season.
  • Expiration: All packages remain valid for 12 months from purchase date.
  • After the first lesson in a package has been completed, no refund requests will be accepted.
Section 07

Instructor-Initiated Cancellations

If I must cancel due to weather, facility issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will always have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund — your choice.

To cancel or reschedule, reply to your confirmation email or text, or contact me directly:

A change is considered complete once you receive confirmation.

Section 09

Acknowledgment

Booking a lesson, package, or program with Kevin Cotter Golf indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this policy.
